Olympic Musical Instruments has been building top quality hurdy-gurdies since 1988. We are the only workshop in North America dedicated exclusively to this unique instrument. We have several styles and options to choose from.

Sound samples are now online! Check them out in the FAQ, or in the Products pages.

Get the details on each of the the models that we build and our hurdy-gurdy supplies. Please contact us if you have questions or are ready to place an order.

We also offer expert repair and restoration services. If you have an instrument that's been damaged or neglected, we'd be happy to have a look at it. We have the experience and the equipment for virtually any repair job. Contact us to discuss an estimate.

For answers to the Frequently Asked Questions about the hurdy-gurdy, please visit the FAQ. For more detailed information about the hurdy-gurdy, such as some of the history of the instrument, a discography, a bibliography, a filmography, and all that other cool stuff, go to the reference pages.

If you have an instrument on order, or just want to see what we're working on, take a look at our progress page, where we post regular updates from the workshop.

The hurdy-gurdy community is a small one - your nearest neighbor with a hurdy-gurdy may be hundreds of miles or kilometers away. Many of us keep in touch via the Hurdy-gurdy email list.
