Drapeau options

The drone capo, or drapeau, is not standard on any of our instruments. This device raises the drone string one whole step in pitch, for example from c' to d'. Usually used on the trompette string, the capo can also be installed on other drones. The capo consists of two small wooden flags, hence the name "drapeau"(flag) in French. These flags are closed around the string to raise the pitch. A drapeau can be added at a later time, but the instrument needs to be returned to our shop to perform this addition.
