The progress reports

Each week (hopefully) we update this page with new photos of instruments in progress. The updates are usually made on Monday.

We hope that you enjoy seeing the progress on your instrument and those of others who have them on order.

VG35: turning the wrench handle for the tangents and the socket it fit in under the peghead.

Pimpard: retapping the handle for a new handle shaft

 

Pimpard: all the handle parts, with the handle shaft and bearing at right, and the handle blank in the vise for boring.

 

 

Pimpard: the wheel is in, the keys are in - soon, soon, really, DH ! ;-)

 

This week we've pretty much closed down the shop so we can complete the finishing room, spray booth, and the main shop. Here's what's happening:
