The progress reports

Each week (hopefully) we update this page with new photos of instruments in progress. The updates are usually made on Monday.

We hope that you enjoy seeing the progress on your instrument and those of others who have them on order.

Week ending September 9, 2002

We have finally finished as much of the remodel as we can accomplish at this time. Now we get to move back in and clean up the mess. :-) Then, at long last we can start building hurdy-gurdies again!!

In the studio:

The flooring still needs more sanding and a few coats of finish, but we have moved in. Shelves are up, work benches are in and supplies are being restocked.

The computer and laser are up and running again and we actually have a workspace next to the laser.

Meanwhile in the shop...

The walls and ceiling are painted the final color "frosty toffee" and tools are being put back into place..

The metal shop is almost functional and just look at that clean floor.
