The progress reports

Each week we update this page with new photos of instruments in progress. The updates will usually be on Tuesday.

We hope that you enjoy seeing the progress on your instrument and those of others who have them on order.

Week ending June 15, 2004

See last week, or next week, or the index of other weeks for more pictures.

Cali caught my cold. ;-( Somewhat to be expected, but not fun either. I'm getting better. She's getting better.

Somewhere between the shop and the computer a disc of photos went missing, so there are just a few this week.

LB5: The peghead is done, and Cali is putting finish on it.

OR4, OR5, OR6, and OR7: a stock of parts

MBSMG for TL: the body finish is almost complete

The prototype for the benches we plan to make from some of the fallen black locust - and a big thanks to Justin for helping with flattening the top.

In the garden, everything is growing, quite on its own. This is the fern bed, planted last year. We thought that we had lost all four of the big ferns and the three hostas to underwatering (we were a little too busy last August and September) and the deep freeze that killed the jasmine. We were very gratified to see the ferns and hostas return this spring..
