The progress reports

Each week we update this page with new photos of instruments in progress. The updates will usually be sometime on Monday, which is the end of our work week.

We hope that you enjoy seeing the progress on your instrument and those of others who have them on order.

Week ending December 22, 2003

Finally, some pictures! We're still here, really...

No pictures for you yet, Madame Colson, but Santa will be granting your wish!!

LB05 - gluing on the soundboard

LB05 - I don't have a picture of Cali cutting the binding channel, so here's another of the body.

Making a trio of packing crates.

These are a lot easier to make with the table saw and the brad nailer.

An Orca getting ready to a famous musician living in New Jersey.

Drilling the Orca for the tangent tool with a new hole saw.

Orca 3: milling the wheel hole in the carbon-fiber soundboard with a carbide end mill

Here's the nice guy who installed our satellite internet connection. This also turned our life upside-down: long story, but suffice to say that nothing ever works quite as intended...

Some members of my first Basic Electronics class at the Art Institute of Seattle enjoying (?) the last day of class. Thanks for the great memories, guys!

While I was off teaching, RT Taylor was at home playing with our computers and playing some music, visiting with Cali.

No pictures yet, Madame Colson, but Santa will be granting your wish!!

See last week, or next week, or the index of other weeks for more pictures.
