Each week (hopefully) we update this page with new photos of instruments in progress. The updates are usually made on Monday.

We hope that you enjoy seeing the progress on your instrument and those of others who have them on order.

Doyle: the new shaft is finished, and the wheel is being reshaped, sanded, and finished.

 

Doyle: the shaft and wheel are in, with an new tail bearing, and the strings are on. (We did find the larger handle in the case.)

 

VG37: the sides are glued up and trimmed for the bac

k

VG36: it doesn't look like much yet, but it's actually a test keybox and actuator for a new drone capo system

 

"The Monk": designing a new chanter bridge, and removing the wheel cover blocks

 

"The Monk": Justin milling the head of the new tirant peg

 

"The Monk": the tailpiece needed to be replaced also, which requires some soundboard patching.
